The S.B.C. Yoga Mission Statement

SBC Yoga stands for Strength, Belief, Courage. It strives to encourage others to lead more aware and compassionate lives. Yoga is a means for people to truly look inwards and express themselves.

Yoga is a powerful tool that has the ability to change bodies and improve well-being and one’s sense of self. It can greatly increase range of motion, body alignment, flexibility and strength. Individuals can achieve inner peace, calmness and inner truth.

We aim to provide a safe and inspiring environment for both our students and our staff to cultivate their own inner spirit and energy. It is our goal to provide each and every one of our students with an environment that is conducive to learning and growing.

We hope to inspire students and teachers to challenge themselves to reach their goals and live to their true potential.

At S.B.C Yoga, we firmly believe that practising yoga can help people reach their full potential and consequently help the world around them.

We aim to help yoga students discover their true selves by developing a deeper awareness of the interconnectivity between their spirit, body and their mind. All achieved via the highest quality yoga tuition.

S.B.C. Yoga aims to provide holistic trainings that comply with the Yoga Alliance standards for certification at the 200 hour level. Our Yoga Teacher Trainings will uphold a standard of excellence and devotion to the practise while respecting individual needs.

Through comprehensive and in-depth study of yogic philosophy and asana, while developing awareness of the mind, body, and spirit we aim to empower our students to tackle any hardships and live life to the full with integrity and purpose.  We hope that our students will go on to be shining lights in their own community inspiring others to do the same.
