500hr YOGA TEAHER TRAINING
The retreat environment allows students to take a journey deep within and through inner discovery and support from teachers and fellow participants students strengthen their skills for sharing the path of yoga
The therapeutic side of yoga is nurtured through in-depth study of Applied Anatomy and Physiology, and introduction to diagnostic principles, study of Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and how we can apply it in our yoga practice and teachings as well as learning one-on-one yoga teaching practices.
We delve deeper into the history and philosophy of Yoga text studies of the Siddhartha Hatha Yoga Papridika, Bagavadgita and an in-depth look at Patanjali. Review your studies in Pranayama and meditation and learn more advanced rhythms as well as Tantric techniques, loving kindness meditation and Tonglen as well as further studies on the bandhas, Maha Bandha and Nauli.
This comprehensive course is an opportunity to develop not only as a yoga teacher but on a personal level as well, with daily asana, pranayama and meditation practices as well as lots of practical teaching experience.

After completing the 300hr training students are able to apply for their 500hr RYT with Yoga Alliance. With all course requirements being met during the training no further studies or extra hours outside of the training are required to secure your certification.
Level 1 (200hr) Yoga Teacher training with S.B.C. Yoga or another recongised 200hr training provider. S.B.C. Yoga is open to all students who have completed a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training. The course is open to all students who wish to deepen their knowledge of yoga whether they are or wish to be a yoga teacher is irrelevant. The only requirement is a desire for knowledge and growth.
We are very excited to be heading back to Bali for another Yoga Teacher Training. We are even more excited about our new amazing location just 3kms from the beautiful beachside town of Lovina. The Hamsa Resort is the ideal location for this transformational journey.
Located in the tropical hills of the North Coast of Bali, where a salutary tranquility reigns. It is idyllically surrounded by rice field terraces, palm trees and hills, tropical butterflies, birds and colourful flowers. The property has two infinity pools surrounded by lush greenery and open views of North Bali Sea. Offering Ayurvedic treatments, Balinese massage and a restaurant serving delicious dishes made from local vegetables and organic products from their own garden you will be well looked after during your stay.
S.B.C. Yoga is very excited to be hosting our Yoga Teacher Trainings in this very special location.
We choose locations that provide beautiful surroundings and amazing staff wishing to make your stay as pleasant and trouble free as possible. We choose not to stay at 5 star luxury resorts but in beautiful affordable accommodations aimed at keeping the course costs down to make it more affordable for the majority instead of the minority.
$3800AUD teacher training including course manuals and S.B.C. Yoga t-shirt or tank top.
This does not include travel to and from Bali or to and from The Hamsa Resort. Transportation to The Hamsa Resort can be arranged if you need. All students need to arrive in Bali by the evening of the 20th May ready to start classes on the morning of the 21st.
Single and twin share accommodation available. Whilst we aim to give students their choice in accommodation choices are allocated on a first come first served bases.

How to Apply:
1. Fill in the online application form.
2. Pay a non-refundable deposit of $500 AUD.
3. There is a 50% deposit to be paid to secure your accommodation choice.
4. Once the application form has been received and the deposit has been made, S.B.C. will send you a receipt detailing all costs and monies paid.
Travel and Visa requirements:
Bali’s International Airport is located in Denpasar. Airport transfer between Ngurah Rai International, Bali’s major airport in Denpasar, and The Hamsa Resort can be arranged through S.B.C. Yoga.
Citizens of certain countries may purchase upon arrival in Indonesia a 30-day visa which can be extended for an additional 30 days by application to the immigration department. This visa is obtained directly upon landing at major airports and seaports in Indonesia. The maximum stays permitted for the visa on arrival is 30 days. As this course is just over the 30 day period you can either apply for apply for a 60 day visa at the relevant immigration department in your country prior to arrival or pay per day for the extra days over the 30 day period it is roughly $20AUD per day. Alternatively for a fee the 30 day Visa on Arrival can be extended for another 30 days via local immigration offices which can be arranged once in Bali.
The requirements for Visa on Arrival are:
• Expiration date of the applicant’s passport must be at least 6 (six) months after the date of entry
• Round-trip airplane ticket
• Payment of a US$25 visa fee
• A minimum of two blank pages in your passport
Please mark ‘tourist’ as reason for visit. As this vise is only applicable to citizens of certain countries if you are unsure about your country of citizenship being able to get a visa on arrival in Bali, please make your own inquiries through your travel agent in plenty of time before you leave.
