S.B.C. Yoga Teacher Training – Terms and Conditions

Below are a list of the terms and conditions that are applicable to those who book on one of our yoga teacher training courses

Cancellations and Refunds

If you must cancel your placement on the training, you must do so in writing. Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the date we receive your written cancellation.

Refund Policy

If the balance of the course fee is not received by the notified due date (31 days prior to course commencement), a student’s place may be offered to someone on the waiting list. The student will forfeit the deposit paid.

If the course is full, we still accept bookings and your deposit of $500 will hold a place on the waitlist. If we’re unable to confirm your place, you will have the choice to either have your deposit fully refunded or transferred to another course.

If a student withdraws from the course after payment of full fees, the following refund policy applies.*

1. If the student withdraws 28 days or more prior to course commencement, the student will receive a full refund of all monies paid, minus the non refundable deposit of $500.00 and if applicable the non refundable 50% accommodation fee.
2. If the student withdraws 15-27 days prior to the course commencement, the student will receive 75 percent of the full course fee minus the non refundable deposit and non refundable accommodation fee if applicable.
3. If the student withdraws 5-14 days prior to course commencement, the student will receive 50 percent of the full course fee minus the non refundable deposit and the non refundable accommodation fee if applicable.
4. If the student withdraws 1-4 days prior to course commencement or withdraws after the course starts, the student will receive no refund.

Points 2,3,4 will apply ONLY in the event that the training spot is not taken up by another student from the waiting list. All non refundable deposits as discussed previously will be with held.

In the case of compassionate or unforeseen circumstances necessitating withdrawal, a student may defer to an alternative available course upon application, and fees will be transferred to that course accordingly.

S.B.C. reserves the right to cancel any event (yoga retreats/yoga teacher trainings) if necessary. In the unlikely event that this occurs, a full refund of all monies will be returned to the client.
